Our privacy policy covers information collected through our website and the personal loan request form, including how we use it, share it with lenders and partners, and protect it.

It does not cover the practices of lenders or partners you reach through our service. Once a lender receives your request, its own privacy policy governs how it uses your information. Please read each lender's policy before you finish an application.

We collect the information you enter in the request form, information about how you use our website, and limited information from partners that help confirm identity and prevent fraud.

• Information you provide: name, address, email, phone number, date of birth, Social Security number, income, employment, housing, loan amount and purpose, and bank account details.
• Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring site and cookie identifiers.
• Information from others: identity and fraud-check results and, where you allow it, data from lenders or partners about the status of your request.

We use your information to match your request with lenders, operate and improve the website, prevent fraud, communicate with you about your request, and meet our legal obligations.

• Confirming your identity and protecting you and lenders from fraud.
• Sending messages about your request and, with your consent, related offers.
• Measuring how the site is used so we can fix problems and improve pages.

We share the information in your request with lenders, lending partners and other networks that may offer you a loan or related financial product, because matching you with them is the purpose of our service.

We may also share information with service providers that host our website, send messages or run fraud checks for us, under contracts that limit their use of the data. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of our business.

Lenders and partners that receive your request may keep and use it under their own privacy policies, including to contact you and to run credit checks with your permission.

When you submit the request form, you agree that we, lenders and partners may contact you by phone, text message and email about your request, including through automated dialing systems and prerecorded messages.

This consent is not a condition of getting a loan, and you can withdraw it at any time. Message and data rates may apply to texts. Reply STOP to any text message to stop texts from that sender, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or ask a caller to place you on its do-not-call list. You can also email us to stop messages connected to our service.

You can opt out of marketing messages, limit cookies, and ask us what information we hold about you or to delete it, subject to legal and record-keeping requirements.

• Cookies: adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies.
• Access or deletion: email us from the address you used on the request; we will confirm your identity before acting.

Opting out with us does not stop lenders that already received your request from contacting you; please opt out with each lender directly as well.

We use cookies and similar tools to keep the site working, remember your progress in the form, measure traffic and understand which pages are useful.

Some cookies are set by analytics or advertising partners that help us see how visitors reach our site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, though some features, such as saving your progress in the form, may not work without them.

We protect your information with encrypted connections, access controls and limits on who can see sensitive data, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Pages that collect personal information use encryption in transit. Access to stored data is limited to people and service providers who need it to run our service. If we learn of a security incident affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.

If we learn that we have received information from someone under the required age, we will delete it. If you believe a child has submitted information, please contact us.

Residents of some states, including California, may have additional rights to know, access, correct or delete personal information and to opt out of certain sharing.

Some information collected for lending purposes is covered by federal financial privacy law instead.
