About Our Free Personal Loan Matching Service
We help people compare personal loan options from lenders in our network with one short request. We are not a lender, and using our service is free.

Who we are
We run a free online service that connects people who need a personal loan between $500 and $5,000 with lenders in our network. We are not a lender, and we never make credit decisions.
Our office is in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and our service is used by borrowers across the United States. Since launch, about 56,000 people have used our request form to see what lenders might offer them for car repairs, card payoff, medical bills, home fixes and other everyday costs.
Everything on this site, from the request form to the guides in our personal loan blog, is built around one idea: you should be able to compare real options in plain language before you commit to anything.
Why the service exists
Shopping for a small personal loan one lender at a time is slow, repetitive and can mean several hard credit checks, so we built one request that reaches many lenders at once.
Most people who need a few thousand dollars need it for a specific reason and on a specific timeline. Filling out a separate application on five websites, each asking for the same details, wastes time that a stretched budget rarely has. Our form asks for the basics once and passes them to lenders who may be a fit.
We also wanted borrowers to understand the numbers. That is why our guides use worked examples, explain APR before interest rate, and show the representative cost of a typical loan rather than only the lowest possible rate.
How we work with lenders
Lenders join our network under agreements that let them receive requests from borrowers who meet their basic criteria; each lender then decides independently whether to make an offer and on what terms.

When you submit a request, we share the information you provide with lenders and lending partners that may be able to help. A lender may contact you, show you a prequalified rate or ask you to finish an application on its own website. From that point, the relationship is between you and the lender.
We do not see a lender's final decision, set its rates, collect payments or hold your loan. Questions about an approval, a payment or an account belong with the lender that issued the loan, and its name and contact details appear in your loan agreement.
We review lenders before they join the network and expect them to follow federal and state lending laws, give clear disclosures and treat borrowers fairly. If you ever have a concern about a lender you reached through our service, tell us on the contact page.
How we make money
Lenders and lending partners pay us when we connect them with borrowers, so our service stays free for you; that compensation can influence which offers appear and in what order.
We never charge borrowers a fee to submit a request, compare offers or decline every offer. You will not receive a bill from us, and no lender should ask you to pay us anything.
Because compensation can affect what you see, we explain the arrangement in full on our advertiser and lending disclosure. Compensation does not change the rates a lender offers you; each lender prices loans using its own criteria.
What we will never do
We will never ask you for an upfront payment, promise approval, pretend to be your lender or pressure you into accepting an offer you do not want.
- We will never charge you to use the request form or to view offers.
- We will never guarantee approval or a specific rate, because only lenders make those decisions.
- We will never ask you to pay by gift card, wire transfer or cryptocurrency.
- We will never tell you an offer expires in minutes to rush your decision.
- We will never sell a loan to you ourselves.
If anyone claiming to represent us asks for any of the above, stop the conversation and contact us. Our guide on how to spot a personal loan scam lists the most common tricks.
How we write our guides
Our guides are written and reviewed by our editorial team to explain personal loans in plain language, using worked numbers, current rules and clear sourcing for anything that depends on law or regulation.
Each guide is built around one question a borrower actually asks, such as how fast a loan funds or whether consolidation hurts credit. We show the math behind examples, say when a figure is an estimate, and update pages when lender practices or rules change.
Our writers do not receive extra pay based on which lenders a reader chooses, and lender partners do not approve or edit our guides. Where we make a recommendation, it is a general one; your own situation, state and credit profile decide what is right for you.
Our promise to borrowers
Our promise is simple: clear information, no fees for using the service, and respect for your decision to accept an offer, compare further or walk away.
A personal loan is a real commitment that you will repay over months or years. We would rather you borrow less, borrow later or not borrow at all than take a loan that strains your budget. If our guides help you make that call with confidence, they have done their job.
